Attend the Jan. 14 Meeting

The staff report for the Esperanza Hills project outlines three significant and unavoidable impacts that will occur if the project is built, including: Greenhouse Gas Emissions, Noise and Traffic. (Interesting that Public Safety, Water and Wildfires aren’t included in the list.) Decision makers will need to make THREE Statements of Overriding Consideration that make it “okay” for these impacts to occur. In other words, residents will have to simply live with the short and long-term negative impacts FOREVER because decision makers feel this project and its benefits outweigh the impacts. We don’t agree. We need YOU to be there on Wednesday to say NO to this project and its impacts on our families, homes and neighborhoods. Wear RED! red
