Esperanza Hills Alive at Christmas

Last year the County of Orange released the Draft Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the proposed Esperanza Hills project during the holidays. Today, they released the Final EIR for the project. A public hearing with the County Planning Commission has been scheduled for Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 1:30 PM. We find this outrageous that the County expects us to give up Christmas and family time (again) for this poorly planned project.

Please take the following immediate actions:
1. Email County Supervisor Todd Spitzer and protest the Commission meeting date. Specifically ask that the meeting be delayed until the new Planning Commission is seated and educated on this project after the New Year.
2. Post your request on his Facebook page as well.
3. Donate to support our work to stop this project
4. Plan to attend the hearing on December 17 at 1:30 PM.

One comment to “Esperanza Hills Alive at Christmas”
  1. To: Todd Spitzer, County Supervisor,
Please do not build additional homes in Yorba Linda, You do not have the water, roads, or the support of the tax paying residents & citizens to approve this project. This proposed development stinks of a money grab between local, county governments, and developers……lord knows they are not rich enough yet.

Planning the hearing @ 1;30pm on December 17th was clever, most residents have businesses or jobs and it will be difficult to attend….please delay the meeting!!! You were elected to serve the needs and wishes of the residents of Y.L…….please hear us
    Thanks
    Harry
