In other news, we continue work on preparing for the anticipated Board of Supervisors meeting in late September. We’ve been doing this by meeting with various agencies–and it has been quite illuminating. And, we again need speech readers for the anticipated Tuesday, September 25 Board of Supervisors hearing.
And as a side note, a letter from Southern California Edison went out to some residents stating that during extreme fire conditions Edison may do a “Public Safety Power Shutoff” (i.e., turn the power off to limit the risk of fires starting from powerlines). If you received this letter can you let us know and tell us what street you live on?
