Thank you so much to everyone that came out in attendance today and for our wonderful speakers for the Board of Supervisors hearing. Thank you also to our legal team, Kevin Johnson and Jeanne MacKinnon, who continue to knock it out of the ballpark.
Supervisor Todd Spitzer did an amazing job relaying his concerns about the project–especially in light of his experience with the Canyon 2 Fire from last October. If you have a moment, drop him a thank you note for his efforts at today’s meeting.
It was–quite frankly–a disgusting display by the remaining four Supervisors (Do, Bartlett, Steel and Nelson)–who ultimately opted to approve the project again. Supervisor Spitzer was the ONLY vote against the project.
